This is a scene at the end of Dun Laoghaire Pier on a summers day. I love the little bench area at the end of the pier, it’s a lovely little place to take in the view of the bay from. Here I caught these gentle poses by these people, a family interacting over a photo, an old man and a young boy taking in the wonder of the sea, the older woman smiling on. I love Ireland in these moments, communal moments around nature, far away from the voracious noise of consumption and pollution; calm, bold and good humored.
