In this latest painting in the “Dublin in a bright light” series I’ve depicted Capel street Bridge which bisects the center of town and the Liffey along Capel street. In this piece I’ve used the techniques developed in the other paintings in the series of manipulating colour and perspective to create a vibrancy in the city where there was once a grayness. I’ve also sought to incorporate the use of patterns to give a description to the technology that now interlaces vast amounts of our daily lives.
