A little preliminary painting for a larger one in the works. In this piece I’ve looked to use more mixed media techniques to pull on the contrasting elements of the environment surrounding the central figure. This painting is the latest description of Dublin in a bright light, using painting to create cinematic descriptions of the urban environment so as to evoke an inquisition between it’s relationship to the individual.
