The second in the Mothership series this painting was my more literal attempts to describe the view of the Earth from space and the symbiotic relationship between life and the biosphere. The Overview series has since diverged away from these more literal descriptions and into thematic descriptions of systems through patterns. These two Mothership pieces serve as unique installations in the Overview series.
